Beerus, the God of Destruction, wakes from a long sleep a few years after the battle with Majin Buu and goes looking for the Saiyan who beat Frieza, which puts Goku and the whole planet in his sights. This enhanced edition restarts Dragon Ball Super with newly drawn and re-rendered cuts, added and revised scenes, re-recorded audio and a restructured story meant to sit closer to Akira Toriyama's original. It opens on Goku's chase after the legend of the Super Saiyan God.
