Synopsis
Awoken from decades of sleep, Beerus the God of Destruction learns that a Saiyan named Goku once defeated Frieza and grows curious enough to seek the long-lost Super Saiyan God. He heads first to King Kai's planet, where he flattens Goku in two blows, then drops in on Bulma's birthday party on Earth, where Vegeta is frantically trying to keep him entertained. To stop Beerus from destroying the planet, Goku must reach the legendary form by drawing on the power of fellow Saiyans. This 2013 theatrical film returns the cast to canon after years of side material.
