Woken from decades of sleep, Beerus the God of Destruction hears that a Saiyan named Goku once defeated Frieza and grows curious enough to look for the long-lost Super Saiyan God. He drops in on King Kai's planet first, where he flattens Goku in two blows, then on Bulma's birthday party on Earth, where Vegeta scrambles to keep him entertained. This 2013 feature, set after the Majin Buu arc, turns the party into the ground Goku has to hold: Beerus will destroy the planet unless someone can give him a real fight.
