Goku's fight for Earth is retold at speed: this recut of Dragon Ball Z trims the original 291 episodes down to 97 by cutting filler. Raditz's arrival now runs straight through the Saiyan invasion, Frieza's war on Namek and the Cell Games. Vegeta, Piccolo and Gohan all keep their places in the story, carried by a remastered HD picture and dialogue re-recorded with most of the original Japanese cast. A later continuation, Dragon Ball Kai: The Final Chapters, covers the Majin Buu saga.
