Synopsis
Yato, a nameless god so obscure he doesn't even have a shrine, scrapes by on odd jobs at five yen apiece, dreaming of becoming a God of Fortune. When middle-schooler Hiyori Iki pushes him out of the path of a bus and takes the hit herself, the accident loosens her soul from her body, leaving her drifting between the Near Shore of the living and the Far Shore of spirits. Seeking a fix, she hires Yato — and meets Yukine, the troubled teenager serving as his sacred weapon.
