Ken no Tsurugi, revealed as the third traveling medicine seller — the Inui no Kusuriuri — joins the Mononoke franchise in a new project unveiled by Twin Engine following the theatrical trilogy's finale, voiced by Hirofumi Araki. Like the Ri and Kon medicine sellers before him, he hunts mononoke, spirits born of human resentment, by uncovering their Form, Truth, and Reason before they kill again. The announcement expands on the franchise's established lore that up to sixty-four medicine sellers exist, and pairs the project with three tie-in novels centered on the Ri, Kon, and Inui sellers.
