モノノ怪

A wandering figure known only as the Medicine Seller moves through Edo-period Japan, confronting mononoke, malevolent spirits that feed on human anguish. Before he can draw his exorcism sword, he must uncover each spirit's Shape, Truth, and Reasoning, forcing those around him to face the buried emotions that summoned the mononoke in the first place. A spinoff of the Bakeneko arc from Ayakashi: Samurai Horror Tales, it unfolds as self-contained multi-episode arcs.
