After the Holy Knights stage a coup and seize the realm, Elizabeth Liones, third princess of the kingdom of Liones, sets out to find the Seven Deadly Sins, a band of legendary knights accused of treason and scattered a decade ago. At a roadside tavern she finds Meliodas, the Dragon Sin of Wrath, running the Boar Hat bar with a talking pig named Hawk. Together they begin gathering the remaining Sins to take the kingdom back.
