Synopsis
Kazuma Satou dies in an embarrassing accident and meets the goddess Aqua, who offers him reincarnation in a fantasy world to defeat the Devil King. When Kazuma spitefully picks Aqua herself as his cheat item, both land in the starter town of Axel with no money and no plan. They recruit Megumin, an arch-wizard who can cast only one explosion spell per day, and Darkness, a crusader whose sword never hits its target. The four scrape by on odd jobs, each member's dysfunction canceling out whatever progress the others manage.
