Tanya Degurechaff, a ruthless battalion commander inhabiting the body of a young girl, takes her 203rd Aerial Mage Battalion to the Eastern Front in the second season, where the Empire's war runs into the Union's forces. Still locked in her private quarrel with Being X, the god who condemned her to this life, Tanya works to convert battlefield victories into the desk career she craves, while her superior Rerugen watches her calculated ruthlessness with growing unease.
