Yuu Otosaka exploits his ability to possess other people's bodies for five seconds at a time, coasting through school on stolen exam answers. Nao Tomori, student council president of Hoshinoumi Academy, catches him cheating. Her school shelters adolescents whose supernatural powers emerge at puberty, and she forces Yuu to transfer and help the council find other ability users before outside organizations can exploit them.
