Yuu Otosaka exploits his ability to possess other people's bodies for five seconds at a time, coasting through school on stolen exam answers. Nao Tomori, student council president of Hoshinoumi Academy — a school sheltering adolescents whose supernatural powers emerge at puberty — catches him cheating and forces him to transfer and help the council track down other ability users before outside organizations can exploit them.
