Synopsis
Atsushi Nakajima, an orphan expelled from his orphanage for attracting a mysterious white tiger, is rescued from starvation by Osamu Dazai — an eccentric investigator for the Armed Detective Agency who was trying to drown himself in a river. Dazai and his partner Doppo Kunikida are hunting the same tiger, and the revelation that Atsushi himself transforms into the beast earns him a place in the agency. The agency's gifted members each wield a named supernatural ability, putting them in direct competition with the Port Mafia and its enforcer Ryunosuke Akutagawa.
