Synopsis
Hōtarō Oreki, a high school student devoted to conserving energy in all things, is pressured by his older sister into joining Kamiyama High's near-defunct Classic Literature Club. There he meets Eru Chitanda, whose relentless curiosity drags him into solving one small mystery after another — a self-locking classroom, a suspiciously popular library book, and the decades-old secret behind the club's own founding. Alongside fellow members Satoshi Fukube and Mayaka Ibara, Oreki discovers that his talent for deduction is harder to keep dormant than he thought.
