Kiyotaka Ayanokōji enrolls at the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, an elite institution where students receive monthly point allowances and near-total freedom. Quiet and deliberately unremarkable, he is placed in Class D — the lowest-ranked group — alongside the driven Suzune Horikita and the outgoing Kikyō Kushida. When the class discovers that its point balance depends entirely on collective performance and conduct, the students must cooperate or watch their privileges vanish, while Kiyotaka hides abilities that could upend the school's rigid hierarchy.
