Synopsis
Kiyotaka Ayanokoji enters the Tokyo Metropolitan Advanced Nurturing High School, an institution that grants its students unusual freedom and ranks them in classes from A down to D using a points system that funds nearly everything they do. Placed in the bottom-tier Class D, the quiet Ayanokoji hides his real ability and keeps his distance until he crosses paths with Suzune Horikita, a classmate set on dragging Class D up to the top. The school's open tolerance of bargaining, sabotage, and manipulation turns each assessment into a contest of who can outmaneuver whom.
