Synopsis
Objects, armored war machines the size of buildings, have made conventional armies obsolete: nothing stops one except another Object. Qwenthur Barbotage, a design student serving out his term in the Legitimate Kingdom's army, is posted to a frozen Object base in Alaska with fellow soldier Havia Winchell, where the two befriend Milinda Brantini, the Elite pilot of the base's own machine. When an enemy Object attacks and theirs cannot answer, the two ordinary soldiers have to find a way to bring one down on foot. This manga adapts the opening arc of the original light novel.
