Kodaka Hasegawa transfers to St. Chronica's Academy but his naturally blond hair and fierce eyes make classmates mistake him for a delinquent. When he catches the equally friendless Yozora Mikazuki talking to her imaginary companion, the two form the Neighbor's Club — a school club aimed at learning social skills and making friends. Sena Kashiwazaki, the headmaster's beautiful but abrasive daughter, joins as the third member, and the group grows to include a genius inventor named Rika Shiguma and Kodaka's younger sister Kobato.
