Kazuto Kirigaya is a week past the Ordinal Scale incident when YUNA, the augmented reality idol at the centre of it, comes to him with a problem of her own, and Asuna Yuuki is in it with him. Reki Kawahara wrote the six chapters and Bunbun illustrated them. This light novel was never sold separately: it shipped inside the Japanese limited edition Blu-ray and DVD of the film, which makes it an epilogue for viewers who have already finished Ordinal Scale.
