銀河英雄伝説 わが征くは星の大海

Reinhard von Müsel takes an Imperial fleet into the Battle of Astarte against a Free Planets Alliance force that outnumbers him, and beats it by taking its divided squadrons one at a time. Across the line, staff officer Yang Wen-li watches his own admirals walk into the trap and is left to save what he can of a broken formation. Siegfried Kircheis holds Reinhard's flank while the Empire's high nobles wait for the upstart to fail. The film precedes the main Legend of the Galactic Heroes series and stages the two commanders' first meeting.
