Lelouch vi Britannia sits on the imperial throne with the whole world lining up against him, which is precisely what he and Suzaku Kururugi arranged. This manga opens on the Zero Requiem, the plan that turns Lelouch into the single enemy every nation can agree to destroy, and follows it to its end. It reworks the closing stretch of Lelouch of the Rebellion R2 as its own telling rather than restarting the story from Area 11.
