人間失格

Ooba Youzou grows up in a well-off northern household convinced he cannot tell what other people want from him, so he builds a clown act in childhood and never puts it down. Sent to school in Tokyo, he falls in with Horiki and drifts away from the future his family arranged for him. This volume condenses Osamu Dazai's 1948 novel into manga for the Manga de Dokuha classics line, keeping Youzou's three notebooks as its frame.
