Sakura Adachi and Hougetsu Shimamura met while cutting class and turned into the kind of friends who spend every free period together, Adachi carrying feelings she cannot say out loud and Shimamura reading none of it. Here a rotating set of artists takes that pair a chapter at a time, redrawing the cast of the Adachi and Shimamura light novels in their own styles across school afternoons and small everyday scenes. The chapters share no continuity; each is its own short take.
