Ryusuke goes back to the fog-bound town he left as a child, where people still settle questions of love by stopping a stranger at a crossroads and taking whatever answer he gives them. The stranger they keep meeting is a beautiful youth who steps out of the mist and sends the girls who listen toward ruin, and Ryusuke has his own reason for wanting him caught. Three more short stories close the volume: Nayamu Onna, Kage and Zekkyou no Yoru.
