Centuries of forgetting have left Earth at a pre-industrial standard of living while the Moonrace kept its technology intact and its eyes on the planet below. Loran Cehack, sent down ahead of the return, ends up at the controls of the Turn A Gundam once the settlers stop waiting, caught between the people who raised him and the people he came from. Dianna Soreil, queen of the Moonrace, is still trying to keep that return peaceful when the shooting starts, and this light novel follows both of them through it.
