大王
大王
Eleven short comics sit side by side in Daiou, drawn by Iou Kuroda with a brush rather than a pen. A reading of Saiyuuki, a football match filed as The World Cup 1962, an elephant's summer, a bear, a mosquito, a garage at night and a piece simply called Metropolis each run a few pages and then stop. Asagao, the story Kuroda made with Yoshitomo Yoshimoto, belongs to the same set. There is no continuing cast and no shared setting: what holds the collection together is Kuroda's brushwork.
