Hana Ichinose lost a year to mumps before her high school entrance exams, and she keeps that gap to herself at Hoshio Private Academy, where Tamate Momochi, Eiko Tokura and Kamuri Sengoku become her first real friends. A rotating group of mangaka each contribute a short comic about the four of them. The twelve pieces collected in this single volume sit outside the main manga's continuity, trading its running story for one-off gags and small domestic scenes.
