The Hidamari Apartments sit across the street from Yamabuki High School, and Yuno's first year in the art course keeps going there, with Miyako next door and second-years Hiro and Sae upstairs. This second season stops following the calendar, dropping in on days before, during and after the ones the first season covered, from Yoshinoya's costumes in class to whatever Miyako has done to her dinner. Nothing larger than a school assignment is at stake.
