妖怪人間ベム

Bem, Bela and Belo look human enough to move through a town unnoticed, but all three are youkai, and they stay in that town to fight off the monsters preying on its people. Their reward is meant to be humanity itself: do enough good and they may finally become human. Bem carries a walking stick, Bela a whip, and Belo, the youngest, nothing at all, and the people they save often turn on them the moment their real forms appear.
