アトム ザ・ビギニング

Five years after a disaster nobody has explained wrecked much of Japan, reconstruction is underway and two graduate researchers, Umataro Tenma and Hiroshi Ochanomizu, are running a university robotics lab on almost nothing. Their one working prototype is A106, which they call Six: plain to look at and strong enough to shift rubble by the ton. This manga is a prequel to Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy, set years before the robot that series is named for is built, and Tenma and Ochanomizu are the men who will build him.
