Yuuki is an ordinary junior high student until he helps the girl from another class that the whole school calls the Trash Girl, and that one favor takes his ordinary life away from him. She turns out to be bound up with the holy crystals the title names and with the Monobiles, the bird-named figures who move around them. Yuuki chooses to stay on her side of a hunt he had not known existed, one crystal at a time.
