平安遷都
平安遷都
Osamu Tezuka's Phoenix serves as storyteller in this four-minute short about the moving of Japan's capital to Heian-kyo, which the Phoenix presents as a great national project meant to give a single city eternal life. It was made by Tezuka Productions for the 300-inch theater at Kyoto Tezuka Osamu World in the Kyoto Station building. There it screened as the second half of a double bill after a Black Jack episode, Grandma, both segments linked by the Phoenix's narration.
