Seiichirou Kondou, a 29-year-old accountant who lives for his job, gets dragged into another world when a kingdom summons Yua Shiraishi, a high school girl, to be its Holy Maiden. Offered a comfortable life as compensation, he asks for work instead and lands in the Royal Palace's accounting department, which waves every budget request through unchecked. As he starts cutting waste across the palace, a restorative tonic reacts badly with his magic-less body, and the one who saves him is Aresh Indolark, the stern Knight Captain. This manga adapts the light novel.
