Mirai Asahina, a 13-year-old with a love of mysterious things, sees something fall from the sky into the park and rushes out with her teddy bear Mofurun to find it. There she meets Liko, a girl her own age from the magic world who flies on a broom and is searching for a powerful jewel called the Linkle Stone Emerald. Batti, a dark magic user serving Dokurokushi, appears demanding the jewel and conjures a Yokubaru monster, so Mirai and Liko join hands, say the words Cure Up RaPaPa, and become the legendary Pretty Cure. This manga adapts the anime series of the same name.
