Synopsis
Tigrevurmud "Tigre" Vorn, a young earl from the Brunish territory of Alsace, is captured in battle by Eleonora "Elen" Viltaria, one of the seven Vanadis — war maidens wielding dragon-born weapons in the neighboring kingdom of Zhcted. Instead of ransoming him, Elen recruits Tigre as an ally when Duke Thenardier moves to seize Alsace in his absence. Armed with a bow that can match the Vanadis' supernatural arms, Tigre fights alongside Elen to defend his homeland while Brune slides toward civil war.
