Every thousand years, the gods convene to decide humanity's fate, and this time they vote for extinction. Brunhilde, eldest of the thirteen Valkyrie sisters, challenges the verdict by invoking Ragnarök — a tournament of thirteen one-on-one fights between gods and history's greatest humans. Each human champion wields a Völund, a Valkyrie who transforms into a weapon matched to the fighter's style, at the cost of her own life if the wielder falls. The first match pits the Norse thunder god Thor against Lü Bu, China's legendary warrior.
