キノの旅 -the Beautiful World-

Kino, a young traveler, rides a talking motorrad named Hermes from country to country, staying exactly three days in each. Every land runs on its own laws: one permits its citizens to kill, another leaves everyone able to hear each other's thoughts. Armed with a pair of persuaders and sharp survival instincts, Kino observes each society up close, sometimes drawn into its conflicts, then packs up and rides for the next border before familiarity can take hold.
