Synopsis
In a world where witches and humans wage an endless war, a half-beast mercenary known only as Mercenary dreams of becoming fully human. He crosses paths with Zero, a lighthearted witch searching for the Grimoire of Zero — a spell book she authored that was stolen and is now fueling dangerous new sorcery. Joined by the young magician Albus, the unlikely pair travels through hostile territory, trading protection for Zero's promise to restore his human form.
