Synopsis
Thorfinn wakes as a slave on Ketil's farm in Denmark, hollow and directionless after years of violence and the death of the man he spent his life trying to kill. His companion in the fields is Einar, an Anglo-Dane enslaved when Vikings burned his farm and killed his family; the two work together clearing forest to earn their freedom. Season 2 follows what becomes of Thorfinn once his drive for vengeance has run out — stripped of his enemy, he starts again from nothing.
