On a job deep in the forest, the skilled young adventurer Dale finds a starving devil girl branded with the mark of a sinner, and takes her home rather than leave her to die. He names her Latina and becomes her adoptive father, settling her into the Dancing Ocelot inn run by Kenneth and Rita. As Dale teaches Latina the local language and shares daily meals with her, the seasoned adventurer falls headlong into doting parenthood.
