Two years after Sephiroth's defeat, Cloud Strife has withdrawn from his friends and works as a courier while quietly suffering from Geostigma, an incurable disease spreading through the planet's survivors. When a silver-haired trio led by Kadaj begins abducting infected children near the ruins of Midgar in search of their mother, Jenova, Cloud is drawn back into battle alongside Tifa, Barret and the rest of his old allies. This computer-animated film continues the story of the Final Fantasy VII game.
