Yoichi Isagi and the Blue Lock Eleven face their first test outside the facility: a match against the Japan U-20 national team, the conventionally selected elite that program director Ego Jinpachi's methods are meant to obsolete. Lose and the Blue Lock program is shut down permanently. New recruits Yo Hiori and Nijiro Nanase fill out the roster as U-20 captain Oliver Aiku makes overtures to convince Blue Lock players to defect before the opening whistle.
