Night Is Short, Walk on Girl

夜は短し歩けよ乙女

Across a single surreal night in Kyoto, a black-haired university student wanders from a wedding after-party into the city's nightlife, sampling potent cocktails and stumbling through a string of strange coincidences. Trailing her is Senpai, an upperclassman who has spent ages engineering chance run-ins to confess his feelings. As her night spirals through used-book fairs, drinking contests and odd local gods, his clumsy pursuit keeps falling apart. A feature film by Masaaki Yuasa.
