Synopsis
In 18th-century Italy, orphan Tenma trains to become one of Athena's eighty-eight Saints, warriors who draw on cosmic power to protect the goddess. His closest childhood friend Alone is revealed as the reincarnation of Hades, lord of the Underworld, setting the two boys on opposite sides of a Holy War. As Hades begins painting the world-ending Lost Canvas, Tenma must face the friend he grew up beside. This OVA series adapts Shiori Teshirogi's prequel manga.
