Seiya survived the Holy War with Hades, but the curse of Hades' sword has left him in a wheelchair and unresponsive, with Saori Kido caring for him. Artemis, goddess of the Moon and Athena's elder sister, offers a bargain: she will restore Seiya's body and mind in exchange for control of the Sanctuary. Once Saori agrees, Artemis and her Angels take the Sanctuary, and Seiya and the other Bronze Saints set out to win it back against the gods of Olympus. This 2004 film continues directly from the Hades chapter.
