Synopsis
High schooler Tomoharu Natsume is haunted by Misao, his childhood friend who died in a plane crash and now lingers beside him as a ghost. His ordinary life unravels when a mysterious trunk is left in his care and a shrine maiden, Kanade Takatsuki, comes seeking it, drawing him into a hidden conflict over giant entities called Asura Machina. Bound by a contract that makes him an 'Asura Cryin'' with Misao serving as his machine's Burial Doll, Tomoharu is caught among secret factions and rival contractors fighting over the technology's dangerous secrets.
