The Melancholy of Haruhi-chan Suzumiya

涼宮ハルヒちゃんの憂鬱

This short-form parody recasts Haruhi Suzumiya and the SOS Brigade as squat, chibi versions of themselves for a string of gag episodes. Haruhi is louder and more overbearing, Yuki Nagato spends her downtime on eroge, and Itsuki Koizumi nurses an exaggerated crush on Kyon. Each roughly five-minute installment spoofs scenarios from the original Haruhi series rather than telling a continuous story.
