Kyon and the rest of the SOS Brigade return as Haruhi Suzumiya — the girl who unknowingly reshapes reality to suit her whims — drags the club through a summer that refuses to end. In the Endless Eight arc, the last two weeks of August repeat over fifteen thousand times while only Yuki Nagato, the silent alien observer, retains memory of every loop. The season's second half follows the Brigade's chaotic production of a student film directed by Haruhi. This second season aired its fourteen new episodes interleaved with the original 2006 run in chronological order.
