Bo-bobo fights the Maruhage Empire with Hanage Shinken, the Super Fist of the Nose Hair, commanding his own nose hairs like whips. In the year 300X the empire's ruler Tsuru Tsurulina IV has sent his Hair Hunters out to shave the world bald by force. Bo-bobo rescues a teenage girl named Beauty and builds a band of oddballs, including the gas-powered Heppokomaru and the spiky troublemaker Don Patch, taking the absurd battle to the Empire one nonsensical brawl at a time.
