Bo-bobo's campaign against the Maruhage Empire's Hair Hunts gets replayed rather than advanced here: the special was slotted between episodes 32 and 33 of the television anime to recap the run so far. It walks back through the Hajike allies he has collected, the enemies he has shaved his way past, and Beauty, the girl he rescued early on and the only reliably sane member of the group. Supplementary viewing, not a way into the series.
