Wei Wuxian, founder of the demonic path, and Lan Wangji keep following the cursed severed arm that has led them across the cultivation world. In this final season of the donghua, the trail stops at a stone marker reading Yi City, a deserted town the two walk into looking for their next lead. Inside they meet a cultivator they cannot place and a run of unexplained deaths that reaches well past the arm they came for.
