Synopsis
This Episode 0 OVA is the first Nichijou animation Kyoto Animation produced, bundled with a manga volume ahead of the TV series. It strings together three vignettes from the same cast: Mio trying to cheer up her panicking friend Yuuko, the childlike Professor Shinonome catching a cold, and the girls riding a train into a string of small absurdities. As an early standalone short, it sets the deadpan-meets-slapstick rhythm the full series would later run on.
